  • Greetings everyone

I wandered onto this site through a link for Portal18. The link came from a fellow CCM member. I am looking forward to being a member of a friendly painting and hobby site. Especially one that isn't primarily GW. I am a fan of GW, it just gets overloaded sometimes. I am an owner of a small ebay games/ minis store. I have also started to vend at conventions. We did Philcon in November and will be vending at Templecon in a few weeks. I am fortunate to have this business started up because I am getting exposed to a lot of different games and miniatures from different manufacturers.

This is a list of my current favorite things.
    1. Dragon miniatures. 2012 is The Year of the Dragon for me. I currently have 8 dragon projects that I would like to have finished this year. I've had to put a Dark Eldar painting project on hold, but with rumored 6th edition in June this is no big deal to me. I would much rather wait to build and paint, rather than going back redoing previous work due to rule changes.

    2. Sedition Wars miniatures. I am actually a much bigger fan of Sci-fi minis than fantasy. McVey makes some really good stuff, and I look forward to starting my own force. (I have the minis, just not the time to work on them atm)

    3. Miniature based Board Games including Dust, Puppet Wars, and a few others I have ordered but have not yet received.

This is just kind of a quick rundown of some of my current interests. It is actually much more vast than that. I really need to try to stay focused this year. I suffer from ADD and keeping my focus on one thing is next to impossible sometimes. Hopefully starting a project log here will help keep me motivated and on course.

I look forward to interacting with everyone. See you on the boards.

    Jason.

Welcome! For small scale sci-fi, take a look at Infinity.

O, did I just offer a pint to someone with a drinking problem? Sorry about that
