OK I just nipped into a quiet corner at work and did my test result was 34 which is level 4 for my age. Seems I still have some of my strength from before, I will be starting at week 3 will keep you informed. BTW the pull up one works I could not do 2 when I started by the end could do 2 sets of 12 on my finger board (was 3 stone lighter then)

Would I be disqualed since I'm a fitness trainer? It's been a while since I've tested my max push-ups but I'll check thru in a couple of days (chest day was yesterday so I need a bit of rest)

Outstanding on you though Boris and exiles!

That would be a Drill Sargent. :P

I have found in my years that people continue to exercise and work out when they are encouraged and congratulated, not yelled at and demeaned. No military style school here sir. :D

I did a sit up with an 80 pound tire on my chest when I was drunk on a bet last summer. Made mad stacks of cash! How much does this challenge pay?

@scott; the payment is personal pride.....worth more than cash, LOL

I'm on week four of both press ups and sit ups. I quite like the military school of being shouted at, but that's probably because of serving in the military. I always found that if some 6 foot hairy arsed brick out house was screaming at me I ran faster, mainly to get way from his/her constant screeching, LOL.

Wk2 D1 9,11,8,8,....17 I really forced myself to keep going on that last round (min was 11). Wrists are a little sore, and in general I found that really tough this morning.

Way to go Exiles - great initial set!

Well as mentioned on Becca's blog I will be starting the push ups and sit ups on Monday, the last few years I haven't done any so I am expecting pain for the next couple of weeks.

                    My test scores were:
                    Push ups - 15
                    Sit ups - 22

I have age on my side or should I claim that as an excuse?
Either way Monday will see the start of week 1 on level 3 :o(

As I mentioned in Becca's blog, let's see some videos of these 100 consecutive push-ups once you've gotten there.

No I didn't mean becky in reference to hairy arse. When I was in the army there was a rather well built female PT instructor, and when I mean well built I don't mean in the chest capacity. She was very masculine, and as hard as nails. I sparred with her a few times in boxing, and she could throw a mean right hook, not many lads woyuld spar with her. Mainly cause I think they didn't want to run the risk of being beaten, LOL.
