    It was already in use by the person who absconding with the Adonis!

    Yesterday's drink was a Manhattan, which was decent, but for a whisk(e)y drink wasn't a patch on an Old Fashioned, which means I need to get more oranges to skin and to make more simple syrup.

    This evening's drink - a Raspberry Martini.

    Unfortunately the Creme de Frambois I have access to has been open and in sunlight for about 20+ years so it's not aged all that well.

    Still, good for getting the theory down and not a terrible drink.

    I also made an Adonis, which originated in 1884 which I didn't get a picture of as it was absconded with as soon as I had poured it.

    I've actually gotten into mixology since Christmas, so I'd go for an Old Fashioned, such as one of these three from Saturday night :)

    The Bourbon biscuit infused bourbon is excellent by the way! Lovely chocolate and vanilla coming through that goe nicely with the orange and bitters.

    Other recent concoctions include the Downhill Racer and the creatively named Apple and Melon cocktail (it's sour apple, but they can't call it a Sour as that's a different thing entirely.)

    Apologies on the wait. we did give the barmaid job to Roger but he was frankly crap and kept eating all the Scampi Fries. Best bet is to wrong out a beer towel or two and see if itll make up a pint for ya!

    Over a year and I'm standing here gathering dust waiting for that birthday drink, well two now. Even the tumbleweed got fed up and left. All the beers got bits in now - dead flies and other stuff which I won't describe here but I might taste as I'm getting hungry as well as thirsty.

    yeah unfortunately theres only Skol. Theres also some Bud that the yanks brought but we use that to clean the bogs with
