As you all know I am a very handsome devil but slowly over the years (especially after stopping smoking) the weight has gone on so I have decided to really push and shift it again. I thought writing my experience down here in public might motivate me better and if anyone else is trying to do the same thing we can motivate each other!
My starting weight last week was 17st 1 3/4lbs
My diet is reasonably healthy, its not often I eat crisps or cakes,etc but I do eat a fair bit and I get little time to exercise (if Im not looking after the kids im painting/runing wamp) so its harder to shift the weight.
My main issue is lunchtime and evenings. I tend to have a couple of sandwiches on a dinnertime and I usually have a couple on a night so phase 1 was stopping this. So dinner time just a single sandwich and none on an evening (fruit instead)
This first week has been doing that and just general not eating treats.
I did my first weigh in this morning and in the first 7 days I have dropped 5 1/2lbs. Well chuffed with that and I only look 5 months pregnant now instead of 8!!
thats sits me at 16st 10 1/4lb and my goal for this week is 2lbs so aiming for 16st 8 1/4lb by next monday. (hopefully a little more but 2lb a week is a good rate)
Once the kids break up from school I can get the mountain bike out and put in some miles as the wife will be at home (shes a a teacher) which should help shift some fat too.
