OK, screw the previous trailer ... this one kicks ass !!

This game could become my preferred choice over my current favorite Alien themed videogame (Capcom's AvP beat'em all).

I mean, 4 players campaign, marine humour, powerloaders you can actually drive ?

That's unfair ... if this game holds its promises, I'll get stuck in diorama-building for the next 3 years (that's conservative).


[This said, I doubt the nuclear blast at the end of Aliens left that many structures standing ]

Sometimes, the game doesn't appear that gorgeous, but I must admit the solo campaign seems to have brillantly scripted events.

There's a third trailer somewhere ... didn't put a link, as it features some sort of fugly "Alien Ox".
Exactly the sort of aberration you could have seen amongst Kenner's old Alien toys range -XD-

The atmosphere's here, I give you that.



Now for the game ... I want to believe it's gonna be good, but I'm a bit afraid of any software reaching the "vaporware status".
If you think of "Duke Nukem Forever" (also completed by Gearbox), it was less than satisfying.

On a positive side, "much of the main plot was written by Battlestar Galactica writers Bradley Thompson and David Weddle."
I'm more afraid of statements such as : " [...] the game will also feature never before seen xenomorph types created by Gearbox Software ".
Plus, this studio is busy completing their Borderland 2 project, which may be detrimental to ACM.
Don't misunderstand me, I hope I'm wrong ... in which case, I'll be more than happy to play with you all :)
