only have a phone number for that plinth chap as he'd run out of business cards - I'll get it when I'm home.
The other base company (who had the awesome 10 for £1 bargain bins!!!) was http://www.just-bases.co.uk, friendly people from Devon.

Yeah - it's quite large as well, We were upstairs in a large gallery, but downstairs was a big space and it was packed. Stands were also in the canteen area, and all down the corridor.
When the lads get their photos up I may be able to show it all a bit clearer :)

I know Alsager as the train stop before Crewe :)
to be fair we did stay in the one building all day, and they did have viking re-enactors, stormtroopers (the star wars variety) and some armoured vehicles present. Who doesn't want to see a viking having a conversation with a stormtrooper?
some pics from the day...
Last year's Euro winner
A lot of bases and plinths for sale and cheap too
The SFM:uk stand
most importantly, the Sheffield Irregulars stand - in the process of being set up here. Obviously we arrived later than everyone else :)

Don't now Alsager, but Nantwich is a cracking night out - lived in Northwich until I was 13, then moved up to Durham

Had good fun at Crewe on Sunday, met lots of nice people and bought some bases :D But I was good and stayed away from the models (well buying them anyway).
Any of you know the chaps at SFM:uk, they seemed like a real nice bunch - very friendly and had an awesome display with lots of scratch built stuff and some really different stuff.
