Indeed, some of their inspirations are easy to track :)
They turn out to be really nice to paint, even though some 3D-generated textures are a bit rough under the brush.
Thanks for the welcome back ^^

Robot guy ? You mean this one ?

He's actually the carboard knight ^^

Since then, one more for the collection : the twin-tailed fox.

Arh, sorry DL, missed it ^^

Actually aku.chan, I'm making something pretty stupid : waiting for all the minis to be painted before playing the game (with the risk of not liking it when it hits the table) -XD-

And here comes the first warmachine mini of the year :)

I'm sorry, do you think he'll forgive me? :)

The twin tailed fox is looking absolutely banging too, I'm such a sucker for OSL.

Nice Menoth too, do you play the game?

Ha ha ^^ If you watch that funny movie, "Dave Made a Maze", you'll realize these cardboard creatures can ben very vindictive -XD-

Airbrush is of great help to achieve these effects quickly. I also use fluo PA to add some light in the mixture.

It has become increasingly complicated to find other players in France, but this is still a game I love for so many reasons !

Here are a couple of minis I was given by Mythic Games, for their Solomon Kane KS. They were a treat to paint, especially the Darkness, which is practically a diorama by istelf.

So atmospheric, I love it! For the blacks, did you airbush some grey first then go in and put some sharp highlights on?

Yes, that's exactly how I do it ArkM ;)
As cool as Airbrush is, it tends to produce a very recognizable effect, which most painters tend to dislike (they call it "cheating" ^^). So I create some animation on my surfaces using Prince August white (the brand is important, as its almost "chalky" consistency makes this type of highlight really easier).
Note that my first airbrush layer was a mix of black & blue (was it P3 coal black ?), as I feared that a grey highlight would produce a rather dull effect on the clothes
