  • If you love Rome...

    ...you'll love http://www.unrv.com/
I'll be lucky to paint a single figure this year or any other. If I do manage it, no one will be more shocked than I.

I'm always slightly dubious about clicking links that contain strings of letters but in this case it stands for the United Nations of Roma Victrix and it looks to be a reasonably useful looking site about Rome from the founding to the decline of Byzantium. I'll have a bit of a peruse when time permits.

Cheers WHG. I'm on a bit of a Rome kick at the moment so those will prove useful. I'd love to own an army like this but my painting will never be so prolific. I may have to commission James; it looks to be a day's work for him.

I'm on a rome kick at the moment as well, writing a Late Roman book for a wargame company, involved with the Rome Rolemaster RPG series and waiting to find out if I'm going to be writing another book but this time for Shire, and finally thinking about writing a 4E D&D campaign setting based on the Roman Empire, so yeah on a little Rome kick as well, LOL

Dr. Phil (who owns that army) is the guy who does most of the painting for Warlord.

Yeah, it was through Warlord that I found him. I've spent a lot of time on the Warlord website lately trying not to buy any Imperial Romans.
