    GENERAL SHOW INFORMATION: The IPMS Pensacola Modeleers and the Panhandle Miniature Figure Society cordially invites you to attend the 2012 Gulf Coast Model and Figure Expo May 4 & 5 at the America’s Best Value Inn in Pensacola, FL. The location provides over 4000 square feet of display and vendor area. We recommend you make your reservations early (Please mention you’re attending the 2012 PMFS Show when making your reservations. The room rate is $49.99 a night).     JUDGING & SPECIALTY AWARDS: IPMS Pensacola Modeleers judging will be done by the Contest Judging Committee (per IPMS National Rules, 1st, 2nd and 3rd) and the PMFS operates its competition under the “Open System” (Gold, Silver, Bronze) in which entries are judged independently on merit. Judges Best of Show Award will be given to the entry deemed most outstanding by the judges from all entries. People’s Choice Award will be selected by popular vote from the competitors.

    SPECIALTY AWARDS: The following specialty awards are being sponsored: Best Prehistoric Subject / Best Female Figure / Best Medieval Figure / Best Science Fiction / Best Mecha Figure (Gundam/M.A.K.) / Best Napoleonic Figure / Best Classic Monster / Best Fantasy Figure / Best Asian - Native American Figure Award / Best American Civil War Figure and Best Gaming Figure / Best Marine Subject / Best Ship / Best Automotive / Best Aircraft / Humor In Modeling Award. The Theme Award For 2012: Cinco De Mayo.

    ADMISSION EXHIBITION & SHOW SCHEDULE: Paid admission is required for all Show guests, and the following fees cover admission to the Show: Exhibitors: $10.00 covers your first 3 entries and $1.00 for each additional entry. Non-Exhibitors: $2.00 covers you for the exhibitor room, seminars and Vendor area. Children 12 and under get in FREE accompanied by an adult. Vendor tables are $15 each.

    Friday, 4 May 2012
    4:00 PM Vendor set-up begins (tentative – depends on room availability)
    6:00 PM - Till, Hospitality Area
    6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Pre-Registration in the lobby

    Saturday, 5 May 2012
    7:00 AM Vendor setup (If the room is available, vendors will be allowed to set up Friday evening).
    9:00 AM Exhibitor registration, set-up, Vendor, & Exhibit Hall open to the public
    10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Hospitality Suite
    12:00 PM Exhibitor registration closes
    1:00 PM Judging Begins
    1:00 – 4:00 PM Seminars
    4:00 PM Silent Auction bidding closes; Raffle drawing begins
    5:00 PM Awards Presentation Begins
    (NOTE: Hospitality Room reopens following awards – until…)


    SILENT AUCTION: Pieces will be graciously donated by award winning artists.

    DOOR PRIZES: Drawings throughout the day.

    SEMINARS: This year's Show promises some exciting and informative seminars geared to enlighten and entertain attendees. (Seminars subject to change due to artist availability but tentatively scheduled for Saturday 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 with participating artist to be named).
