  • Hendon Model Show - 19th May

I thought I would pop this up in case anyone fancies going, it's a very good museum and the added benefit of a model show seems too good an opportunity to miss.

Here's an email I've had from them -

    Dear John

Many thanks for your email - great to hear that you would like to come to Hendon Model Show - we are looking forward to welcoming you.

Regarding the competition, it's open to everyone and has lots of sponsorship. Attached is a copy of the rules and classes/categories. IPMS Harrow and IPMS Barnet members are not allowed to enter but anyone else can. We normally get generous donations form Airfix and Revell, Hobbyco and Hobbycraft, as well as handing out trophies.

We will have about 26 traders including Great North Roads, Little Cars, Collectakit, Mr. Models, Guideline Publications, ADH Publications, Pol Models, Pheon Models, MDC, Aviation Antiques, the Aviation Bookshop, Aviation Hobby Shop, Falcon Models, Pinnacle Modelling Supplies, Sprue Mart, ADM models (They make excellent bases and scenery), Antics, Valiant Wings. We will have displays on all sorts of modelling, including marine, figures and vehicles.

here's a link to the page on the RAF Museum website.

    best wishes

    Jonathan Burns, IPMS Barnet
