I was lucky enough to be invited down to Golem Painting Studios 'Masterclass 2012' held at Maelstrom games in Mansfield. Tickets for the event were £80 and for your money you were treated to a full days painting and tuition from Golems very own Tommie Soul and not one but the complete pairing of Mike & Ali Mcvey. The cost also included lunch and a free Broga miniature to be worked on during the day.

Sunday 3rd April saw me on the road again and heading north out of Wales for the Forgeworld Open Day at Warhammer World in Nottingham. Thankfully this time it was a start at a more reasonable hour compared to some of the other shows I have travelled for as I was attending as a visitor this time as opposed to an exhibitor. I haven’t been to a Forgeworld Open Day before as I have always ended up being out of the country or elsewhere when the event is held so this time I was looking forward to the day and meeting up with friends during the day as well as all the new goodies ...Forgeworld Open Day

Saturday 26th March saw me once again up at silly O’clock in the morning for a two and a bit hour drive with the WAMP Display over the border and across to Guildford for the Aldershot BMSS Show otherwise known as Military in Miniature. Bugle Call 2010 & The First WAMP Road Trip
Sunday 21st November was the Bristol Area Branch of the British Model Soldier Society (BMSS) Show, more commonly known as Bugle Call held in the historic city of Bath. The venue is the Cricket Pavilion which is just outside of the city centre area. IPMS Scale Model World Show 2010
This weekend (13th & 14th November) was the premier show for the International Plastic Modellers Society (IPMS) although this show is open to the general public only members of the IPMS may enter the competition.
