The base is an off-the-shelf plinth by BNS - LINKY
I just used some red oxide colour, then did some basic NMM, then masked off areas of it, did some weathering with washes and paints mixed with rusty pigments, peeled all that off and then added a couple of top glazes to bring it all together. Hardest part by far was freehand drawing a HAZMAT symbol. Honestly, that is one of the most mind bending things I've ever done!

Problem really is that there's a lot of grey and grey/blue all together, so it probably all meshes together a bit too much.

The BNS plinth was another bit of fun with texturing and masking too, so all in all it sort of was intentionally "rough", I guess
cool, hope you didnt think I was been offensive mate. Possibly the bluey/grey background is throwing my eyes off. Makes em go funnier than seeing Nigel in a Mankini

No problem mate. I'm of the same opinion regarding the background. I think that I may rephoto it tonight with a black background, because the grey/blue is EVERYWHERE!
