car wars type terrain / game in progress

    Hey everyone,

Here is what I made for our convention last year. I used my own customized ruleset hybrid from GW Battlecars, Dark Future and lot of other systems.

    James,

The pylons (assuming you mean the barriers) are scrap pieces of pink stuff foam carved out and then spray painted black with a grey spray/drybrush. The barriers and ramps were all made from balsa. The building were made from a program called model builder. Basically it lets you design your own buildings / printed to paper / glued to card stock, etc.

    Cheers,
    Michael

Pretty sweet set-up there. Looks fantastic!

Sorry folks - the electricity pylons are a kit called "transmission towers" in HO scale by Walthers Conerstone Series (for model railroads). I had one hell of a time building them to be honest - so my girlfriend stepped up and made them for me... They weren't painted, maybe I will add some staining/weathering to them for next year's race.
