    Afternoon all from Jolly Old England

    Hi all, found this site a few weeks back by chance (found it linked from DakkaDakka actually) and thought I'd come along and join in for a bit of a chatter on.

    I'm Andy, a 30 year old (and a bit soon!) male from near Newcastle in the North East of England... so yeah, that makes my accent completely non understandable for the vast majority of folks... thankfully it doesnt apply to reading it when its written down unless you try and read in a geordie accent.

    Anyway... that aside, I've first got into painting Games Workshop figures about 10 years back, along with running a small gaming club at the local community centre.

    As the club folded, and my time came more and more limited, I drifted away from painting. I eventually returned about a year ago (last February ish) as a friend of mine was opening a hobby store, and wanted me to do some painting for him.

    Now one year on (almost!) I've done a few little projects and now im looking around to either give out tips to others, or improve my own painting techniques, so forums are my next port of call.

    So there we go... a brief introduction to me. I've been uploading photos of my work to my newly created flickr account, if anyone wants to take a look at them.
