    Hobby vice

    hey folks can anyone recommend a hobby vice? Something like gw's would suit with the suction mount and padded jaws - GW's is £8 wondered if anyone had any other ideas?

    Don't waste you money on the GW one it is perfetic to say the least, it doesn't stick down to anything even if you wet the base.

    Get yourself one of these

    You can always glue a bit of foam of styroboard to the jaws or even a bit of plastic to protect the mini's whilst they are in it. at £5.78

    G-clamp is a must! The GW sucker thing is a death trap, it doesn't actually stay on the table properly. A guy in the local store almost ended up impaling the guy next to him when the suction failed.

    I got the GW one. But then I use a desk where I fitted a glass top to it...
