Thanks for all the support guys. I've now applied for 20 jobs since Thursday, have 2 telephone interviews (one today the other tomorrow) and I contacted a firm that gave me a telephone interview in November apparently I'm still being considered!!!!

So although I don't have a job yet, things are looking a little more positive.

    :D

Also, don't forget that the originator of the "Gissa Job" phrase went from this...

    to running his own kingdom...

and that's despite an unfortunate incident during the nautical phase of his career...

So there's hope for all of us!

BTW during all this I have been asked to interview early next month in Leicester. Thanks for all your support guys.

It's for an IT development firm who want a Web designer :)

Good luck with that. I went to Leicester once and seem to remember it being a nice enough place.

Yeah, that's easy, my main qualification is a degree in mathematics, but I'm in the middle of an AAT course to back it up and I have a programming qualification in VB.

I have a lot of experience in excel and can produce automated spreadsheets and I can use sage accounts.
