Awww.... you guys are too kind!

So I have paint on the entire mini. No more primer! That's something, and I think I can see the end of this guy now. Still LOTS of work to do in areas. Don't like the gem effect I tried, going to redo it as suggested (TY Mike!) and all sorts of other work. The parts I am dreading are the base, and the eyes. I want to do a glowy blue OSL effect on the eyes. I have never done that, so it won't be any kind of extreme effect for sure. The rope needs work, especially the noose, and all sorts of other areas to go back and forth over. Anything else? The to do list is....
-Eyes
-Bracelet
-add more highlights to rope (esp noose)
-work veins on arms
-add some highlight to arm flesh
-smooth out calf on pants, and add a few highlights to the lower half of pants.
-add some edge highlight to the belt on the hat, and the belt with the stakes in it.
-try to do some highlighting to the jagged holes in the jacket.
And of course any and all suggestions and crit's appreciated.
Ack! That first pic is very poor! Bad angle, and bad pic all around. Yikes!

Looking really good, Scott.

Yup--sweet piece of work, there. I'd like to see something different with the skulls on the gallows; at least in the pic they look pretty white. The woodgrain is very, very good. I think just a wee bit of darklining would help the rope stand out from the gallows and I agree a bit more highlighting is in order.

Very nice work has re-inspired me to get my one finished, I have base coated all the colours, need to start on shading and highlights will start my own thread later this week.

Good point on the skulls. I'll glaze them up a bit.
