    Hi there

    Hello everyone.

My name's Miguel Duque (Michael Duke for all you English-Speaking people ;-) ) and some of you already know me as italaerei. I'm 33 and I live in La Palma Island (Canary Islands - Spain - EU) with my wife and my son (and soon with my daughter too). When I'm not working for a telescope (it's a 24/7 job anyway) I use to play WoW while I miss painting minis and building kit models.

I've promised myself that when my kids grow enough I'll start painting again (I just hope they'll prefer painting to the PlayStation).

I have tons of minis (most of them Citadel/GW), many of them OOP (and I even have a Database including a photo of all the models I own!!).

Welcome Michael. So I'm confused why dont you paint atm? I found it very restful when I lived with my kids. :)

To be honest, I haven't got a permament place for painting. The house is kind of crowded and I'd have to take things out, paint and take them back to the wardrobe everytime, trying to make no noise at all most of the time. Apart from that, my wife uses to have siesta after lunch and my son has it too, so I'd have to be very silent for hours.

To enjoy painting I need to be relaxed and in those conditions relaxed is the last thing I could be. And when my son is up I play with him, bath him, etc, so it would be very stressing for me to paint atm.

Me too. At the moment I'm still storing all my painting stuff in a drawer under my bed and on the very rare occassion I have two hours free in an evening I get it all out and set up a boxlid on the bed to use as my paint table - I spend more time setting up and clearing up than I do painting!

Nope, GW's website is banned at work and my subscription to WD ran out last month too. I'm completely cut off from the corporation!

I feel that pain - I've been 'homeless' for about 2 months. Living in other peoples houses. When I paint I have to put it all away when I finish. Still managing 1 to 2 hours a day :)
