got it finished. Just hope the theme scoring is better than the last rounds!

well I got through that round but only averaged 15.67 from the judges (I got scored 16,20 and 11) which is a pretty wide spread.
next round is low down and dirty so I am going for a very dark and sinister piece





there will be walls. I considered hard whether it was too contentious but im going for it!

That... is a huge point spread! Good old subjective judging.

I reckon that piece is about the right balance - it’s definitely suggestive, but it’s not overtly crass or sexualised so it feels more like commentary than mocking or glorifying (which yeah, would be awful!)

got my entry finished last minute as usual. would have liked to have added extras but time didnt allow but thats the nature of the beast!
Was hard to get photos of it really but I think it turned out ok.

Hope it does well, it’s managed to be unsettling without becoming crass I think!

Results are in. I scored 23,22 and 13 respectively (out of 25) so won through. In fact the 23, and 22 were the highest marks awarded to anyone in the contest. Dont get me started on judge 3's continued low scoring!!
Anyway into the final round and up against a friend for added fun!
Theme is Smoke and Mirrors so I am attempting to recreate Peppers Ghost illusion and adding in the scooby doo gang for good measure. Tonight I will try a mock up to make sure I can get the effect to work in the first place
