    Freehand Training

I was inspired by another painter and decided to use some of the copious 1" bases I have lying around as canvases. I'm trying to get my hands back into shape to do fine freehand details since the onset of my carpal tunnel.

This is a very simple scene that's been in my head for a while and it fits in with the next piece I'm going to work on.

    Here's a scale pic:

Thankfully my hands worked quite well for taking a few months off. They got a little numb, but I didn't experience any of the shaking had had plagued me months ago. I'll be working towards more complicated scenes.

Looks good Cregan. I may have to try my hand at this too. Although, I've never really done any free hand.
