Yeah, I'm going to fix Regis' weapon haft and do a bit more priming, I should be able to lay some base coats on tonight or tomorrow.

Work done Saturday after our D&D 5E game.

Regis - I cut off that thick layer of green stuff and applied some liquid green stuff which was delivered to me Friday night and then primed him up.

    Guen
    - I added some more green stuff to her tale (as previously mentioned) and slathered her with some brown liner.

    Spider Lancer
    - Slathered him and the spider mount with RMSP brown liner.

    Spider Queen -
Primed her top with brush-on primer, then slathered her with RMSP brown liner all over again to hit the spots that I had filed some previously missed mold lines and to get the top the same color. This really shows that the top looks much better in my opinion, I'm getting pretty excited about this project coming together nicely now.

Bruenor - Primed the foaming mug on his shield and then slathered the whole thing in RMSP brown liner.

Drizzt - Added base coat of RMSP Dark Elf Skin Shadow.

    Spider Lancer
    - Added base coat of RMSP Dark Elf Skin Shadow.

    Spider Queen
    - Added base coat of RMSP Dark Elf Skin Shadow.

Going to try to get some more work done on these tonight.

Looking good brother! I really like that model you're using for Drizzt.

Thanks! Yeah, I really like that figure as well - the Darksword figures ROCK, great details and poses.

More work last night on the Dark Elf side of things, worked on Drizzt, Lloth, and the Spider Lancer.

Drizzt - Applied more flesh tones, did his eyes (pretty happy with how they came out especially in hand).

Lloth - Applied flesh tones, did her eyes (will probably work on them a little more along with flesh tones).

Spider Lancer - Applied flesh tones, I think he's looking good, not much flesh on him to worry about.

Drizzt's eyes are looking really good! I had to laugh at the last pic as it looks like the spider rider is a bit camera shy :D

Looks like a cool idea, sure looks like a lot of minis though. Hope it doesn't become too busy.

I think you should've gone with this mini for Drizzt.

Ok, to be serious for a sec. I'd trim the ends of the whites off Drizzt's eyes, they are a bit too wide. That would also help the iris:sclera ratio. While it might be a stylistic choice, one thing I learned from Schubert was to exaggerate the iris for expressive eyes.

It'll be on a pretty big base, big enough to hold all of them and they'll be 3 on 1 for each of the Spider Queen and Spider Lancer. I hope it's not too busy either, it'll be a frozen tundra from the Icewind Dale piece.

Haha! I think I actually have HER. She's awesome, but not for Drizzt

Hmm, you mean take a bit of the darker shadow flesh color and move it into the whites a bit or do you mean that I should make the irises bigger?

I was actually pretty happy with how the eyes came out, but now you have me second guessing myself! hahah

Definitely the shadows, your pupil placement was good. And not a lot, if you're not confident in shaving it back a hair at a time, just leave it. As I said, stylistic choice.

Sorry I made you doubt it! You know I'm all about having fun with the hobby. It's just what I would try if it were on my bench.

Have you really only finished only 49 minis? That's in my ballpark and I'm suuuper slooow (though I'd have to go count as I don't keep track of numbers).

    Wait, Drizzt isn't a chick? I think you're wrong here. :)
