I agree. been a poor series, first two episode were off the boil and the third while better wasnt up to the usual standard either. The problem for me was the focus on their relationship, Holmes and Watson, Watson and Wife, Holmes and Brother, Holmes and Bridesmaid.
Get back to focussing on crimes. If we want relationship stuff we'll watch Home and Away.
For me Elementary is better than Sherlock at the mo.
By the way if you read the John Watson Blog its my mate that writes it!
Walking Dead kind of agree, last series was the best for me I think this series has been a let down, no real focus and god I hate Carl!
Still loving American Horror Story though. Jessica Lange is brilliantAvailable for Commissions Like my Facebook Page: Brett Johnson Designs

Forgot to look at the blog this time around, found it just before the last series along with Irene Adler's twitter feed.

Agree about American Horror story. Haven't cred too much for any of the previous seasons, but this one is awesome. Saw her on the Golden globes getting nominated for stuff, not sure if she won any though. just watched the most recent episode and its a great one! Reminds me of Gearge RR with all the killing of what you thought was "important" people.

I really liked the first series (something different) the second was ok but not as good but this one is back to strength. i thought in the beginning I wouldn't get on with them using the same actors but it works well.
Must say Lange is pretty sexy too, not bad for almost 65!
Best bit though this the intro, I freakin love the tuneAvailable for Commissions Like my Facebook Page: Brett Johnson Designs

yeah the intro is sweet, great skiddering and creepy song. Apparently it's pretty common in Mexican soap operas to have a new story each season. Could you imagine how nice that is for the writers? Not to have to leave loose ends and options open. Not sure if you'll get picked up for another season. This way you can arc these characters and plots and have a definitive ending. Wish more shows did the same.

For those in the UK who like comedy, check out E4 at 9pm tonight for the start of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which is a police comedy that started in the US in September. I watched the first couple of episodes and liked them but then grew bored, but thats me not liking straight up comedys, I prefer something with substance then with funny elements (Castle or Buffy, for example)

Comparing BBC's The Musketeers to the latest The Three Musketeers:
Good bits -
No James Cordon
No Airships (as fun as they were)
Bad bits -
No Mila Jovovich
It all seemed a bit meh.
Still, something to watch on a Sunday eveningMiniatures Completed In 2017 - 6 2016 - 24 2015 - 18

Just finished the final season of Nikita. The first season was great, while the second and third were decent with certain episodes sliding towards iffy. If they had tried another full season of 24 like the previous 3, then season 4 would have been awful. However, they stuck to 6 episodes and instead of a number of filler episodes like the last couple of seasons, every one was important and a well written storyline. I also liked that they gave it a decent ending rather than certain other endings that TV series have been given (Dexter, Spooks, Lost)
