CMoN freezing

Is it just me or does CMoN freeze? I'm struggling to navigate the site atm. :(

Yes t is. I think it's time for another big dump over there. Seems to happen a couple of times a year and then they have to clean the place up and it runs better. Pain though.

Possibly but CMoN has just a few more people, articles, posts etc than here, at the moment.

But I'm using a third party host atm, not sure what our limits are!!!

And we've managed over 1000 posts in 3 days!

Well I know a few of our local sites that have plenty of pics, upwards of 4k posts and such and they're still quite fine.

But doesn't everyone look forward to a big dump? When do you guys read White Dwarf?

White Dwarf is absolutely awful nowadays. I'm a GW fanboy but WD makes it hard.... What happened to the big inspiring articles? Remember epic mega battles across many tables over many days? How about those big-a** Games day diorama's?

It all went into the dumper on an epic scale when Battle For Macragge came out. Never have I felt so disgusted with my homeboys at GW when there was a three page, full color, turn by turn battle report of a dude against 6 spore mines. WOW! Can I have this game! "Please momma, I'll be extra good and clean my room 8 times a day and eat my veggies but I just have to shoot spore mines!"

Jesus Christ. The Lord of the Rings is an OK game by me, and I like MOST of the model range. The tactics articles are great waste of mine eyeballs.... "Aragorn should charge the bad guys." Really? Let me write that down in my official GW notebook. "Gandalf should use his spellcasting abilities to help win the battle." Slow down White Dwarf.... I can only write so fast here.... and my favorite advice, "Boromir can get killed by arrows if you're not too careful." Wh-wh-wh-what? Since when?

ACK. How about those really helpful articles on color theory. "Yellow is a bright color." Get the F--k outta here! Since when!

Also I hated WD for many years during the Paul Sawyer years because I had the priveledge of meeting and learning to hate Mr. Sawyer at a GT in Calgary, Alberta in '02. Everytime I had to look at his limey face (no offence to present company) I just had to unclench my fist.
