Wag competes!
Well with such great minis from such a wonderful company I just had to enter the HF fray. My mini of choice is Tiriel, the kneeling version, which I think is adorable. Now the wag doesn't win comps but times like this allow me to indulge in trying something new. In this case the red hair, which looks better irl, and freckles (bit oversized but very difficult with my eyesight even with magnifying aids) and a new way of doing metallics. Not ready to try NMM yet so used a mix of 5 metalllics and one

for Bloodbowl Orcs. well Roger B said I should do a book about these insane creations but that would take too long. So instead I'm collating them all into a single gallery here on Wamp, trouble is finding all the images! But I've made a start. now some are for competitions here on Wamp, others for the Iron Painter series over on Wyrd, and there's probably a few more along the way.

An odd title you might think. But it's because my painting has improved slightly over the years I've been with WaMP and I have actually won a couple of comps. OK, pick yourselves off the floor. And I think their dark deeds are continuing with the voting on my challenge with Spectral Dragon. SD picked a good mini and painted it well with care and effort. My entry the sole purpose of which

Yep it had to go. Trouble was I inherited a ton of stuff from my 3 sons and at my age and speed of painting I realised I didn't have enough years left! So off to ebay it went. Also found loads of stuff I bought in 'oh look new shiny shiny' mode which I realised I'll never paint. Now I can concentrate on what I want to keep and paint I might actually get some serious (well for me anyway) painting done - and allow me to see what I've actually got which will help for competition projects - and no,
the madness of wag

Well I guess I've finally gone off my rocker. Two challenges against Darklord, a challenge against MamaGeek, Five - yes 5! - entries planned for the Darksword competition (did I tell you they're my favourite mini company?), the usual wamp monthly and an ongoing Historical ladder chgallenge against Sprouts. Yes, the challenge is historical as it must be the longest one on Wamp - finished mine yonks ago - and the subject is historical too. Actually I could go back and do mine again, I think I've got
