    Anne,
Thanks for the tips, very helpful! And my apologies for the double post on your page, not sure how i did that. happy painting, James
  3. Hi James,

Thanks for the friend invite! For the skin colors for Skadi, I actually was using cool greys from the Reaper range, primarily colors: Snow Shadow, Rainy Grey, Misty Grey, Ghost White and Pure White. Then in the areas that would receive more light naturally, I added some Rosy Highlight, (a light peach color) mixed with some Ghost White and Pure White. The contrast between the peach and cool greys gives the illusion of blue, and if you add actual blue and or aqua coloring in other areas of the figure, the illusion works well :) Depending on the frost giant, you could also add some faint mixes of cool blues to the skin too, it's up to you. I hope it helps, good luck!

P.S. I apologize if this is a double posting to you, I wasn't sure to reply here or on your page, happy painting!

Hello! So, I have decided to make a wip about one of my projects. The purpose of this is to document this really special mini and also to seek advice & feedback as I go. The figure I'm working on, while it is a miniature, is huge weighing 14lbs, and made of lead. I've done a bit of research as to the prepping of it, and I'm doing my best to make sure that it's prepared as well as I can for longevity and safety. Laszlo on the Reaper forums had alot of good advice with primer and prepping of the
