Geez, I hadn't realized how long it's been since I posted last :( It's been a busy year, but I do want to start posting more regularly again.

Anyway, there's an upcoming show this weekend that I plan on putting 5 brand new pieces in, and some older ones from last year. I'm pretty excited as this experience has been amazing and has stretched me further than I have been, in regards to painting, in a very long time.

I just finished my fifth new show piece for the upcoming show I will be participating in. She was definitely a challenge, as I am using pigment powder for the first time and I'm attempting to make her look as if she had just been through a fire. We'll see, though... I'll possibly take photos of her soon enough and get her up. I'm oober busy, though, DMing, taking care of a household, and painting that I may not have much time, too.

Anyway, I'm starting another figure tonight in hopes of finishing her by Saturday night at the latest. I'm unsure whether or not that will happen, as I want her to look good, too.... so we'll see. If she's not finished for this show she'll be finished for the next one in a few weeks :) So I'm not too worried.

I have chosen a color scheme for her. She's the 4th Thief of Hearts in Dark Sword's collection; the mage. I have a little lake scene made up for her as well.

For her wings, I've chosen to do a bluebird pattern, since they're one of my favorite birds :

For the color scheme I chose one from Colourlovers. I like the pop of bright color in there and it'll be a first that I use peach as a semi-prominent color. I'm really looking forward to it!
