Okay, so maybe not a monster, but what, exactly is this?

I got my inspiration to make this egghead from the Deamon Eggs at http://www.wamp-forum.com/content.ph...ic-Easter-Eggs!

Unfortunately, the deadline snuck up on me and I had to scramble to finish it last night. I'm really not happy with how the tenticles and shell highlight turned out. I am happy how the blending went on the blue areas (shown below - be warned, my picture taking still sucks):

The crevices are there from when I cast it. I didn't make the plaster thin enough and a lot of air got trapped as the plaster cooled/hardened too rapidly as I was filling the hollow shell up.
Anyways, the contest was still a lot of fun to do and I tried to really work on my wetblending in the large blue areas. I wish I'd had more time, I'd have tried to blend the shell portions as well.
