I thought summer was meant to be warm! I mean it's sunny outside and i'm freezing :'(
Thought I'd just post an unpdate in case anyone was pining from my presence :P

The packing continues
Bathroom- 0%
Well...it's not like theres a lot to pack...only the rubber duck collection will give me problems.

Hallway - 0%
Mostly because it was already empty apart from a world map...

Kitchen - 0%

I kinda want to eat from plates and cook using pans while i move out...this room will be one of the last to go.

Bedroom - 90%
mainly need to shove bits into bags/tidy up and chuck the already packed stuff into a storage unit.

Living room - 75%
Table needs dismantling, and the chairs, and the telescope. This is my main 'stack stuff in here' room so there are more boxes brought into here from the other rooms.

Study - 50%
A lot of stuff from here (desk, chair, craft boxes, computer etc) aren't going into storage, but rather to my parents' house so I can't really pack them....well okay I COULD but then i'd have no internet :'(.

My darling fiance is off in Dubai somewhere for the next 4/5 months so i'm enjoying the delights of moving all our stuff into storage by myself, although at least he was around to help take the 4 poster bed apart. Gods I miss having a bed...i'm on a blowup mattress atm. Not a lot of miniature painting will get done until I get my own place again - my parents don't really approve and they are letting me live with them rent free...the least I can do is respect their wishes on that point. At least i'm allowed to sew again...I mean only 15 years afte the 'incident' (Come on! My sister was going to get a needle in her foot if she walked over my sewing that was on the floor! i mean...if someones laid out a costume they're making on the bedroom floor, and there are alternate paths around it and you get called for dinner you don't expect your sister to go back and walk all over the laid out pieces....mutter chunter...).

Anyways...the one thing I am definately going to make is a new dice bag....what's that? Boring you say? I take your boring and raise it with D20 DICE BAG http://www.evilmadscientist.com/article.php/d20bag I have yet to decide if i'm doing it to that scale or slightly bigger - but i WILL be making it out of an old pair of jeans and some nice fake silk i found in my fabric bag :) I'll post pictures when it's done.

I'm also planing on trying to find a dnd group in my local area, the nearest official one is in Leeds...which is a bit of a trek and I really don't want to be catching trains to my home town at 8:30 at night (Why you ask? Because I live there...it's rough she replies) so the alternative is to try and find one nearby or *wince* try and start my own...Dm'ing could be fun...but I couldn't exactly hold it at my parents house!

I've been thinking about what people have said about me stopping painting GW stuff and moving on to well, other stuff. To be honest...I've only got gw stuff atm, and unless I get a job it's unlikely I'm going to get anything different! Plus I actually want to finish my army before I start anything else... That said there are some nice models out there, I want to have a go at making my own, but it will have to wait until the future. As will lots of things.

Well, I could tell you about a dress I'm having to alter for my brothers wedding (because it was only just mentioned that I won't be wearing my bridesmaid dress all day.) but I don't really think it's that interesting. in other news. Have some glucose: http://www.shapeways.com/model/290905/glucose_nobase.html?gid=ug Shapeways are doing a cool thing at the moment for those of us who are less CAD talented. Black and white image and they extrude it - That object was made from the following picture

I'm quite pleased with it, however, it'll be a while before I get to see it in real life due to the $25 min order!

Oh! For those who are into BFG, my fiance (who is more CAD minded then me) designed some none-bfg transports, I was trying to persude him to post them on the site before he left but things got hectic.

The first four i've seen and like, the last one he hasn't had a chance to order yet, so we don't know what it'll look like in real life! I have to admitt the tankers make me snicker a bit....Nipples!

*sigh* i guess I'd better try braving my kitchen at some point...
WT out.
