Exiles Painting (one mans fight against the lead mountain)

Tea Boys are done.

Well on Monday I dropped of the tea wars figures at Ants place and a good talk about the plans they have. I must say one of the things that has struck me since I joined this on-line world is the number of people who follow their dreams, be it a figure company, a hobby shop or just commission work. It must take some nerve to do any of these things and I take my hat off to all who try, this is why I was more that happy to help Ant and the Blackpyramid boys, its good karma.
When I was at Uni I played rugby at the weekend for a local team Hull RUFC 3rds, the team was mostly young lads and vets. On any night out the vets were the first to buy the drinks and I asked one of them why when they knew us students could not always buy one back, his answer was that when we became vets then it would be our turn to buy the drinks for the young lads making there way in the game. Well too many injuries ended my chance of paying back, but in my own way I have lived my life that way I do things for people not for reward but because I can and they may need the help. Would not the world be a better place if everyone was the same.

Cheers for reading my dribble next time there may be more mini related stuff but for now Peace James

The thing I've found about chasing your dreams (goals, call them what you will) and generosity is that I think it is a direct link. Every person I can think of that I would classify as generous makes sure they are pursuing their dreams. Might not be a business goal, or a professional goal, but even people who strive to achieve something hobby related tend to be happier and much more generous. The ones who plonk down on the couch and watch TV until they fall asleep then wake up to go to work and do it all again in the evening are the ones who I really think bring down the bell curve of happiness and generosity. Good post Exiles!
