  1. Painting as personal therapy

I don't generally put my life's business out for display, but I thought I'd put this out there and see if anyone had any similar experiences. My dad has been diagnosed with stage four cancer. I've had a hard time dealing with this internally, in my head and in my heart. I've cut myself off from all but a handful of friends and stopped gaming entirely, both online and in person. However, for some reason, painting has been the only thing that I've been wanting to do as I can lose myself in myself ...

Its my rather rushed entry for the Massive Vodoo Easter Season Contest~! Seen here: http://massivevoodoo.blogspot.de/201...ouncement.html

I got my inspiration to make this egghead from the Deamon Eggs at http://www.wamp-forum.com/content.ph...ic-Easter-Eggs!

Unfortunately, the deadline snuck up on me and I had to scramble ...
  3. Painting Table update - What's next?

Remaining on my painting table are:
Blighted trollkin - need to finish the skin and bone spikes
Wraithwitch Deneghra - need to finish armor and base
    Scavenger - mostly unfinished
    Defiler - mostly unfinished
Carnivean - now that I've learned how to wetblend, I'm tempted to go back and redo its skin
Boo booty - need to finish metalics and mouth
Sisters of Battle squad - stripped of old paint and cleaned off mold lines. Need to prime and figure out paint scheme. ...
  4. Rumscratch, Dwarf Wereshark

Wereshark by Reaper Miniatures, painted for my challenge vs Waghorn41. As usual, my horrible photography skills make this mini look darker than it actually is and doesn't show the highlighighting very well either. :(

  5. Its a start

Inspired by Scott Radom's recent post (Scott v 2012) I thought I'd use the blog as sort of the same thing. Here are the first minis I've finished in 2012, two units of Sisters of Battle I painted for a friend of mine. The color choices are his btw. Please provide comments, criticisms, and feedback as it will only help me to get better!
