The Service

Many painters offer different levels of service at different prices. I offer only one level; my best. Every Miniature I paint on comission is done to the best of my ability. I am happy to paint all genres and manufacturers. I will even paint or create terrain. I usually paint single figures but I will consider larger orders. I am quite happy to do dioramas and I can do conversions too.
My time is limited so I only take on work that interests me. This also means the piece givesme more more motivation and results in a better paintjob. I always offer an estimate of time for completion but this is a guide, I will not rush a piece just to hiut a deadline!

How It Works

Firstly, unlike most other comission painters I DO NOT ask for any money up front (excluding any models I am purchasing). You only pay once the work is finished and you are happy with the result. You may supply the miniatures or I can purchase them. This will be charged at RRP generally.
I will clean, assemble, make good then prime the minis. I will pin where necessary to give maximum strength to the piece. During painting I will email progress photos to you and we can then make changes as necessary. I will base the mini to your choosing (including display plinths  if needed). Once complete I will senf final photographs for your approval. If your happy then you pay and I ship them out to you. If your not satisfied then I will attempt to rectify any problems until your happy with the result. The price also includes varnish (matt,satin or gloss) if desired.

Who Am I?

I have been comission painting for around 4 years as well as painting for Ebay and competitions. I have won several awards including:

• 5x Finalist at Golden Demon UK
• Winner of Silver: Monster, Gold: Single Figure and Best in Show at IMP2009

• Winner of numerous GW Durham anr GW Regional contests
• Finalist Iron Painter 6
• I have also placed in several other contests as well.

My work has featured in the 'Top 10 of The Week' on Coolminornot as well as in the upcoming Coolminiornot Annual
I founded and run www.wamp-forum.com and recently organised the worlds largest ever miniature painting contest which raised over £2,000 for charity. I am based near Durham in the UK and I am married with two young daughters.

I price each comission on its own merits. Even two 28mm pieces can be very different!! Price also depends upon requirements such as conversions, freehand, NMM, basing etc.
